Lauren Marasa, M.D.
Dr. Lauren Marasa graduated from the University of Alabama with a major in biology. She received her medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Marasa joined our residency program July 1, 2012. She may be contacted at lauren.marasa@uky.edu
Farhan Mirza, M.B.B.S
Dr. Farhan Mirza graduated from the Aga Khan Higher Secondary School in Karachi, Pakistan with a degree in biology, chemistry, and physics. He received his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the Aga Khan Medical College in Pakistan. Dr. Mirza joined our residency program July 1, 2012. James H. Smith, Jr., M.D.
Dr. Smith graduated from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC with a degree in Biology.
He received his medical degree in 2011 from the Brody School of Medicine at
East Carolina University.
Nessa Timoney, M.B.B.Ch
Dr. Timoney graduated from Centre College in Danville, KY with a degree in psychobiology.
She received her medical degree in 2011 from the Trinity College Dublin,
School of Medicine, Ireland.

William Lane Stafford, M.D.
Dr. Stafford graduated from Rice University in Houston, Texas with a degree in biochemistry
and cell biology.
He received his medical degree in 2010 from the University of Texas Medical Branch
School of Medicine.
Laith Khoury, M.D.
Dr. Khoury received his medical degree in 2009 from the University of Jordan
School of Medicine in Amman, Jordan.

Jonathan Mannas, M.D.
Dr. Mannas graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX with a major in general studies.
He received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine
where he was invited to join the Alpha Omega Honor Medical Society.
Stephen Grupke, M.D.
Dr. Grupke graduated from the University of Tennessee with a major in chemistry and biochemistry.
He later attended and graduated from New York Medical College with a masters in cell biology and anatomy.
Dr. Grupke received his medical degree from New York Medical College.

Barrett Brown, M.D.
Dr. Brown graduated from Murray State with a major in chemistry and biology.
He received his medical degree from the University of Kentucky, where in his fourth year
he was awarded the Albert B. Chandler Award.
Dr. Brown is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Hughes graduated from Campbell University with a major in biochemistry.
She received her medical degree from Brody School of Medicine at ECU.
Justin Davis, M.D.
Dr. Davis graduated from the University of Kansas with a major in biology.
He received his medical degree from the University of Kansas Medical School.
Wissam Sleiman Z. Asfahani, M.D.
Dr. Asfahani received his medical degree in 2006 from the
American University of Beirut.
